Is the Höhenfresser Tour a ski circuit too?

The Höhenfresser Tour is a long descent from Übergangsjoch to Zell am Ziller, with a vertical drop of 1,930 metres over around 10 kilometres. It finishes down in the valley. The tour includes black piste sections and requires experience; it is not a beginner route.

Which villages have access to the connected ski area?

You can start at Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten and Hochkrimml. Wald lies below Königsleiten and Krimml below Hochkrimml. From these valley villages, you first need to travel to a mountain access point; their location differs from that of the villages directly by the pistes.

Is Gerlosstein part of the same ski circuit?

Gerlosstein at Hainzenberg is a separate ski area. It is not linked by pistes and lifts to the connected Zell–Gerlos–Königsleiten–Hochkrimml route. Plan Gerlosstein separately from the Arena Tour.

How many pistes and lifts does Zillertal Arena have?

Can I explore the Arena Tour from Gerlos or Königsleiten?

Gerlos and Königsleiten lie in the middle of the connected ski area. From either village, you can explore part of the tour or continue skiing to the other sectors. On a longer trip, leave enough time for the connections back to your own valley station.
