Ellmau lies at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. The village centre has shops and restaurants; the Hartkaiserbahn is the main access point to SkiWelt. The mountain range remains in view from the village and the pistes.

Practice areas, wide pistes and connections further into the ski area await on the Hartkaiser. There are also smaller practice lifts in the village. Away from skiing, Ellmau is home to filming locations from Der Bergdoktor.

Kaiserpark and Funslope

The Kaiserpark near Tanzboden has freestyle features. The Funslope by Ellmi's 6er adds turns, woodland sections and tunnels to a ski day.

Practise in the village or on the mountain

The local ski bus connects village stops and lift access points. Ellmau has no railway station of its own; combine a train journey with a bus or transfer from a nearby station.
