Westendorf sits on a plateau above the Brixental. The Alpenrosenbahn takes you from the village to the Talkaser. This is a distinct side of SkiWelt, linked to Brixen via the Choralpe and the SkiWeltbahn.
Higher up, you will find wide pistes, the Fleiding area and the Choralpe with its more demanding runs. The Boarders Playground also gives this sector a freestyle focus. Practise lower down at Sammer and Schneeberg; away from the pistes, there are cross-country trails and winter walks.
