01 / Get to know the route

The orange circuit through every SkiWelt sector.

In the anticlockwise direction, the official SkiWelt Tour is marked with orange signs. SkiWelt gives this direction as 84 kilometres of pistes with 37 lifts, 15 kilometres more than the green tour in the clockwise direction.

Like the green tour, the official orange list starts at the Astberglift in Going and returns there via Ellmau. On the way it passes the entry points in Scheffau, Brixen im Thale, Söll, Itter, Hopfgarten and Westendorf, and the KiWest gondola on the Kirchberg side. The route in the Ski In Ski Route app follows the same list.

05 / Tips

Plan your ski day

Follow the orange signs

On the slopes, the anticlockwise SkiWelt Tour is signposted in orange. The green signs belong to the clockwise tour, which uses other connections.

Hochbrixen twice

The official orange list uses the Hochbrixenbahn twice: once after the Brixen valley run and again near the end, before the Zinsbergbahn. Do not let it confuse you about where you are on the circuit.

Plan the longer day

With 84 kilometres of pistes and 37 lifts, the orange tour is 15 kilometres longer than the green one. Check the SkiWelt lift opening times and plan which part of the circuit brings you back to your own entry point.
